I have been working with and learning some 3d design lately, what can I say I just love 3D computer graphics, I had done this before in the past but forgot a lot of what I had done and now I am getting a refresher course in it.

This is the opening intro in Final Fantasy 10-2 or FFX2 which was also released on the PS2.

Another Final Fantasy Video

This is a video from Final Fantasy 8 although in this video the clips where taken from different parts of the game, the music is featured in the game, This was another great one in the series and also one that I own, the game was released on the PS1 and the PC.

One of my favorite series of games

Final Fantasy is definetly one of those RPG game series that will hook you from beginning to end, SquareEnix formerly SquareSoft definetly knows how to write a story line that is not only highly interactive but like playing a good book or movie.

While I never truly started playing the series until I had played Final Fantasy 7 I was truly hooked on the Final Fantasy series of games from then on, like a good movie or book the story line compels you and runs you through a series of emotions as you take on your characters in the games, you in a sence become the character in the game.

I will always be a fan of this series and I will continue to collect the series, this video is from Final Fantasy X or FF10 in the series and made its debut on the PS2.

Winfast PVR 2000 OEM

That little card was a pretty neat addon for turning my PC into a multimedia power house, with it I have the ability to watch live TV and record live TV on my PC, also it has a built in FM receiver so I can listen to and record FM radio with it, it features composite and Svideo connections for hooking up additional devices to it like vcr's and DVD players or anything with sound and video outputs to its inputs.

It also has built in hardware MPEG encoder so it frees up the computers CPU to handle other task while the card itself does the encoding, I have the ability to record direct to harddrive or direct to CD or DVD write feature, it can also encode to other formats as well but those formats other than MPEG 1 or 2 and or mp3 requires the computers CPU for encoding like WMV, Divx, WMA or any other codes you may have installed on your computer.

DVR functions or in this case PVR, pause and record live TV so you don't miss something in case you have to walk away, schedule to record events and built in program guide are just a few more of its features.

Some screen shots I included for showing the picture qualities of the card, although I wish I had the dish hooked up to this card but it is on aerial antenna instead so the pics are not going to be as sharp as say if I had it hooked up on the dish itself, but hey the 50" projection is on the dish so, for a nice addition to making your PC a home entertainment center these cards are pretty nice to have.

2 of my plants as a hobby

Sweet Red Bell Pepper Plant

I bought this plant last year and started as a hobby for me on growing different types of plants, this plant survived through last years winter and was starting to bare a pepper when it was getting pretty late into the year, so the pepper it did have did not get very big, but this year is a different story as it is getting loaded with peppers :) .

The pepper that had grown on it from last year, I took the seeds from and now have another plant starting to sprout from those seeds, the picture shown above is one of the new peppers growing on it this year, when it gets close to ready the pepper will turn red in color and be much bigger.

Yeah I know nothing spectacular about the blooms or flowers on the plant but each bloom or flower turns into a pepper so currently there are about 4 or 5 peppers on the plant with several more blooms coming on.

Pineapple Plant

The above photo is my pineapple plant, I hope before much longer it will be ready to bloom also and produce a pineapple. I had set it up there for the time being on the front porch area and while you really cant see the leaves of the plant very well, they are turning a reddish color on top which is one of the first signs that it will not be much longer before it put on a pineapple.

Ok this Picture above with the Dish I took only because there is something extra there, can you spot what it is? Want a hint? It has claws and purrs LOL, yeah its one of the cats here a calico so rightfully named Calli.

Well just wanted to show off some of the things I do around here as part of a hobby and also to say Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful Mothers out there.

Just a little test with video

Until I get some flash videos more up too par I am going to host these on my website with a link back to this blog, this video is not the one I wanted to use but is kind of humorous, it does not have anything vulgar in it and has been passed around from emails, of course you can choose not to view the file its your choice and is not hosted on this site.

Ok this is a first time run for me on this blog, although I do have a blog on Yahoo 360, just setting things up and getting used to the interface.....

Well so far today has not been stormy like the previous days and I believe it maybe a clear night.
